April 2010
Dear Pastors and Fellow Christian Educators:
I would like to invite each of you to attend the CCEA 2010 East Coast Conference here at Calvary Chapel of the Finger Lakes, Farmington, N.Y. on June 24th and 25th. This conference is for pastors, school administrators, teachers and anyone involved in a Christian school. It is also for those who have been praying about starting a Christian school in their church.
The Calvary Chapel Education Association exists to be a support for Christian schools within Calvary Chapels, and for others who are like-minded. This conference provides an excellent venue to gain new ideas and insights, meet and talk with others who have similar callings, and an opportunity to refocus our vision in the ministry of teaching the Lord’s flock. To accomplish this, we will offer a variety of workshops for teachers and administrators throughout our time together.
If you wish to register for this year’s CCEA East Coast Conference, just log on to www.cceaonline.org no later than June 18th.
Calvary Chapel of the Finger Lakes (CCFL) is located outside of Rochester, near Canandaigua (a small city at the north end of scenic Canandaigua Lake). Those of you coming by air should fly to the Greater Rochester International Airport. (An alternate airport to consider is the Buffalo Niagara International Airport, 78 miles away). CCFL is located just a few miles south of the New York State Thruway (I-90), exit 44. For more directions you may call 585-398-2218. For more information about the Rochester/Finger Lakes areas, log on to www.visitrochester.com and www.canandaiguachamber.com
Those attending may receive a discounted rate at Canandaigua Inn on the Lake,
or Comfort Inn in Farmington. Please mention that you are attending the CCEA Conference at our church when you make your room reservations.
I pray that the Lord would bless the remainder of your school year. I look forward to seeing you here in June!
In His Service,
Pastor Mark Leckie,
Principal, Calvary Chapel Christian School (Farmington)
